TORL AA Programs
Here are some details about each of the AA programs being offered in TORL this upcoming season. Please note that costs are simply ESTIMATED at this time.
U12 Development
- open to all U12 players valley-wide with interest in playing at the A or AA level
- Estimate two teams of 18-20 players and a few goalies - one in the North (Shuswap and Vernon) and one in the South (Kelowna and West Kelowna)
- 2 practices/month, some scrimmages between the North and South teams (depending on ice availability)
- Vision is to host or attend a Development Jamboree near the end of the season
- Program is user-pay. Estimated cost is $100

U14AA (players can double-card)
- tryout process open to U14 players valley-wide ($75 tryout fee, non-refundable)
- Application and interview process for Coach who will be named prior to tryouts in early September (if possible)
- 1 practice and 1 game per week (location will depend on availability of ice)
- Expectation is that the team will attend 1-2 out of town tournaments plus Provincials and Westerns (Saskatoon)
- Estimate 15 players and 1-2 goalies
- Program is user-pay. There will be an up front cost of $500. Additional fees (if any) will be determined by the team once formed.
U16AA and U19AA (players cannot double-card)
- tryout process open to players valley-wide ($75 tryout fee, non-refundable)
- Application and interview process for Coach who will be named prior to tryouts in early September (if possible)
- 2 practices and 1 game per week minimum (location will depend on availability of ice)
- Expectation is that the team will attend 4+ out of town tournaments plus Provincials and Nationals (Winnipeg)
- Estimate 15 players and 1-2 goalies
- Program is pay-as-you-go. Players are to register with their Home Associations as an Affiliate Player. Once the team is formed, there will be an up front cost of $500 plus a monthly fee that will be determined by the team.
