Preseason Reminders & Info
Hello Westside Ringette members,
Just a few notes and reminders as we go into August, and get closer to the 2022/2023 ringette season.
The early registration discount is available to all returning ringette members from past seasons until midnight, Sunday, August 14. The discount will automatically be applied to any registrations up until that point, then will be changing to the regular registration price. If anyone needs assistance with their registration, has questions or would like to apply to pay in instalments, please be sure to reach out to Katrina Ainslie, the registrar, at kmainslie1@hotmail.com prior to this date. We will not be honouring the early discount after August 14. Please be sure to get your registrations in so you can take advantage of this!

Shake Off the Dust registration is also open. There are a couple of spaces available for the full 4 days but we have additional spaces available for the second weekend only (August 27/28) if anyone isn't able to attend the first weekend. If you are only able to attend the second weekend, please email and a code will be sent to discount the price. The camp is available to any players in U12 and up. More information will come soon about opportunities for younger players to bring a friend to a Come-try Ringette event on Sunday, August 28, so mark your calendars and invite your friends.

We have a virtual store set up for Westside Ringette apparel. The first order for the season will be running from now until August 14 (coinciding with the early registration end date). This order will be delivered in mid-September so the players will have swag for the beginning of the season. We will do a second order from mid-September until mid-October with delivery in late November for anyone who misses out on the first round. Remember that this is a fantastic way to get Westside Ringette's name out and spread the word about ringette in schools and the community!

A virtual fundraiser through Mable's Labels has also been set up. Many families will want to label equipment for the season and school year. These personalized labels are great quality and wear really well on the ringette gear. If you choose to purchase, just select the option, Westside Ringette Association, in the shopping cart, and the Association will automatically receive 20% back from your purchase.
